Popular Author to Discuss Immunization
Controversy
Walene James, author of Immunization: The Reality
Behind the Myth, generally considered one of the
best researched books on the adverse affects of
vaccinations, will be speaking in the
Charlotte-area on Saturday, August 10. James is
the keynote speaker at a conference sponsored by
People Advocating Vaccine Education, a grassroots
group supporting informed vaccination choice.
"Anybody who is researching vaccinations must
hear Walene James," says Lisa Jillani, director
of PAVE. "Her book looks closely at the science
and philosophy of vaccines, but more importantly,
at the importance of freedom of medical choice in
regard to mass vaccinations."
The conference, which is free except for a
nominal childcare fee, will be held 1-3 p.m. at
Matthews Chiropractic Clinic, 9808 Northeast
Parkway, Matthews. A reception will be held
noon-12:45 p.m.
Other speakers discussing vaccines and their
personal and societal impact will be
Anthony
Castiglia, MD;
Judith Fain, DIHom;
Clair Campbell, attorney; Yinka Fasinro, a father; and
Carey Head, a local politician advocating
healthcare freedom.
