PRINCETON, NJ -- In light of the ongoing spread of swine flu, a review of data collected as part of the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index reveals the extent to which Americans generally report flu illness. On any given day, a baseline of between about 1% and 4% of the adult population reports being sick with flu, including about 2.1% on an average day so far this April. Older Americans may be more likely to suffer serious consequences if they contract flu, but the Gallup-Healthways data show that self-reports of having the flu become less prevalent as the population ages.

A recent survey, which was conducted by the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) to better understand the public’s attitudes and beliefs about influenza, COVID-19, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and pneumococcal disease, found that many adults in the United States are not concerned about these respiratory diseases. I have been covering the fraud that happens every year with how the CDC tracks incidents and deaths due to the annual influenza for almost a decade now.

The numbers used each year to scare the public into getting the flu vaccine are based not on actual data, but estimates of number of people who die from the flu according to the CDC. Basically, anyone dying from “influenza-like” symptoms are all lumped together into supposed flu deaths each year. Autopsies are seldom performed to prove cause of death.

I believe it is safe to assume that no one’s rubbing their hands together with hand sanitizer anywhere near four minutes.

After last week partially banning Novartis' ($NVS) Fluad, Italian officials now say tests on the flu vaccine show the product is safe.

The number of fatalities occurring shortly after Fluad vaccination in Italy grew from three to 19 within a few days after the country issued the ban, suspending batches 142701 and 143301. But "the results of the tests confirm the safety of the anti-flu vaccine," the Italian Medicines Agency said in a statement seen by Reuters. Tests on the batches in question came back "completely negative."

The alarming news that Russian scientists have made a direct link of the H1N1 Virus to Genetically Modified Foods is more disturbing than the US government allowing such contaminants in the American food supply. Most consumers are aware that GMO foods now unlabeled may have more of a punch in store when they consume these highly chemically altered foods.

The Russian Ministry of Health has issued the alert that US potato ( a favorite of the fast foods chains serving – french fries by the millions of pounds per day) are genetically modified amylopectin potatoes.

This report indicates the protease enzyme GMO potato was engineered to protect against virus X, but the real reason for this GMO is to spread the H1N1 influenza virus and release the H1N1 RNA into the host cells.

Prior to 2008 it was the flu, then the influenza flu, then the Type A Influenza flu then in 2009 it was the H1N1 Swine Flu that combined a bird flu, human flu and swine flu all rolled into one big Swine Flu manufactured in a laboratory with the Human Spanish Flu of 1918 which was stored in a laboratory had not been seen for over 100 years. Now the specimens have branched out like never before morphing into all types, subtypes, variations and are alphabetized.

While this year’s flu shot is already being aggressively marketed to seniors at the nation’s chain drug stores, what is not being reported is that 23 seniors died after receiving this vaccine during the drug trials, as is revealed in the drug manufacturers’ package insert. During drug trials, there were 249 serious adverse events, including 23 deaths, out of only 3833 participants.

If this does not constitute a dangerous drug that should probably not even be on the market, then I don’t know what does. And yet, this high-dose flu vaccine with 4 times the antigens of the regular vaccine, is sold to unsuspecting seniors and others like candy at these drug stores.

This is an update of my article ‘UK Department of Health Deliberately Exposes Vulnerable Population to Flu Infection’ of May last year as the British government rolls out the program to entire school population this autumn (a product called Fluenz identical with Flumist used in the US). Recent draft minutes of the government advisory committee, the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation, show it to be in a double-bind over asthma cases and uncertain about egg allergy: “extrapolating findings on injectable vaccines to Fluenz® was problematic as nasal administration may be a more reactogenic route than intramuscular injection". (See HERE.) They will still be testing this with program in full gear.

The other problem they have is that the vaccine is “contraindicated for severe asthma” so they have to devise formal guidelines for which asthma sufferers should have the vaccine and which should not, but it begs the problem that the more severely affected asthma sufferers will be exposed to the viruses (which they might well not otherwise have come into contact with) by their schoolmates shedding them, turning on the head the proposition that they are protecting the vulnerable by vaccinating the fit. While the ethical problem is not stated it surely hovers silently above their deliberations and calls into question the very principles of the program (other than making lots of money for someone). REPORTS of some doctors giving young children a banned flu vaccination "defies belief", Australia's chief medical officer says.

THE bioCSL Fluvax was suspended from use for children under five years old after an increase in febrile convulsions in children was linked to the vaccine in 2010. Earlier this month a five-year-old Perth girl received a confidential multi-million dollar payout after becoming severely disabled after receiving the bioCSL Fluvax in 2010.

Despite this, in 2013 there were 43 reported cases of the bioCSL Fluvax administered to children under five. So far this year there had been 31 cases, Professor Chris Baggoley said.

A former nurse will receive an $11.6 million government settlement to pay for future care after a flu vaccination left her paralyzed. The news could fuel another round of debate about whether vaccines should be mandated for staff in long-term care and other health fields.

Sarah Behie, 24, received the flu vaccination in October 2010 while working at Lehigh Valley Hospital, according to the Allentown Morning Call. Three weeks later, she experienced weakness and tingling in her limbs. She subsequently was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome — a neuromuscular disease in which the immune system attacks the nervous system.

Since then, she has been in the care of hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. She reportedly has lost the use of her legs and can barely use her upper body.

THE parents of a WA girl who has been awarded millions in damages after a defective flu jab left her severely disabled say they it’s a “massive relief” the legal battle is over.

Mick and Kirsten Button’s daughter Saba was just 11 months old when she received the Fluvax shot in April 2010.

The then toddler suffered a hypoxic brain injury, kidney, liver and bone marrow failure. She can now no longer walk and talk and needs round-the-clock care.

Three days after Saba was admitted at Princess Margaret Hospital, Fluvax was recalled. It is now banned for children under five.

A warning that the new swine flu jab is linked to a deadly nerve disease has been sent by the Government to senior neurologists in a confidential letter.

The letter from the Health Protection Agency, the official body that oversees public health, has been leaked to The Mail on Sunday, leading to demands to know why the information has not been given to the public before the vaccination of millions of people, including children, begins.

It tells the neurologists that they must be alert for an increase in a brain disorder called Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), which could be triggered by the vaccine.

GBS attacks the lining of the nerves, causing paralysis and inability to breathe, and can be fatal.

The letter, sent to about 600 neurologists on July 29, is the first sign that there is concern at the highest levels that the vaccine itself could cause serious complications.

There just has to be a reason for the unusual rash of flu-related deaths in California. Even after the peak of the flu season has passed and a steep decline in hospitalizations signaled the flu season was almost over, reports of flu-related deaths keep coming in. If public health authorities know the reason for these deaths they certainly aren’t saying anything.

California mandates all health insurance plans must go through a health exchange and that puts many of the preventive health services mandated by the Affordable Care Act into play including free flu shots — not even copayments.

The aim of this study was to compare the number of inactivated-influenza vaccine-related spontaneous abortion and stillbirth (SB) reports in the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) database during three consecutive flu seasons beginning 2008/2009 and assess the relative fetal death reports associated with the two-vaccine 2009/2010 season. The VAERS database was searched for reports of fetal demise following administration of the influenza vaccine/vaccines to pregnant women. Utilization of an independent surveillance survey and VAERS, two-source capture-recapture analysis estimated the reporting completeness in the 2009/2010 flu season. Capture-recapture demonstrated that the VAERS database captured about 13.2% of the total 1321 (95% confidence interval (CI): 815-2795) estimated reports, yielding an ascertainment-corrected rate of 590 fetal-loss reports per million pregnant women vaccinated (or 1 per 1695). The unadjusted fetal-loss report rates for the three consecutive influenza seasons beginning 2008/2009 were 6.8 (95% CI: 0.1-13.1), 77.8 (95% CI: 66.3-89.4), and 12.6 (95% CI: 7.2-18.0) cases per million pregnant women vaccinated, respectively. The observed reporting bias was too low to explain the magnitude increase in fetal-demise reporting rates in the VAERS database relative to the reported annual trends. Thus, a synergistic fetal toxicity likely resulted from the administration of both the pandemic (A-H1N1) and seasonal influenza vaccines during the 2009/2010 season.

Evidence from a single patient infected with the novel avian influenza virus H7N9 points to transmission from live poultry, Chinese researchers reported.

The virus isolated from a 64-year-old man who died from the infection was "almost identical" to that isolated from a chicken taken from a wet market with epidemiological ties to the patient, Lanjuan Li, MD, of Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China, and colleagues reported online in The Lancet.

The finding suggests that live poultry could be the source of the H7N9 outbreak, which has sickened 108 people in eastern China and killed 22 according to the latest official update from the World Health Organization. Investigations into the source are ongoing.

It’s on every major news outlet. The alarm is being sounded. People are dying. The mayor of Boston has called it an emergency in his city.

Now imagine what the coverage would be like if they reported on the flu like they do on autism.

First of all, officials wouldn’t be sure if there really were more people with flu or if it was just better diagnosing of illnesses that they used to call other things. 2013 was only a few days old when I saw a photo of 61-year old Ethel Hoover. . veteran hospital nurse, who had only missed 4 or 5 days of work in 22 years, she was fired from her job for declining to get a flu shot.

According to the report, the rate of miscarriage among pregnant women during the 2009 H1N1 / swine flu pandemic soared by over 700 percent compared to previous years, pointing directly to the vaccine as the culprit -- but the CDC denies the truth and continues to insist nobody has been harmed.

According to the CDC, nearly 50 percent of all pregnant women were vaccinated with the H1N1 vaccine during the 2009 / 2010 influenza season. CINCINNATI —One of Cincinnati’s largest employers fired approximately 150 employees Wednesday for failing to get a required flu shot. TriHealth offered all of its 10,800 employees free flu shots. Employees had a month to get the flu shot. The deadline was Nov. 16. Employees who did not get the shot were terminated Wednesday, a company spokesperson said.

Employees who were terminated can appeal to be reinstated after receiving the shot.

CINCINNATI —Nearly a week after 150 employees were reported to have been let go, TriHealth is clarifying a dust-up over mandatory flu shots.

TriHealth spokesman Jeff Stewart said no employees were fired.

He said letters were sent out last week to 150 employees stating that they need to get the flu shot by Dec. 3 -- the official start of the flu season.

Officials said that since that notice, 82 employees have either received the shot or provided a valid reason why they couldn't get the shot.

Stewart said those reasons are either based on religious beliefs or are health related, such as allergies to the flu vaccine.

TriHealth said 59 of the remaining 68 employees are optional, meaning they are agency employees who work with the company on a temporary basis.

Administrators said those workers still need to receive the flu shot or provide a valid reason not to.

Stewart said nine other workers still need to get the shot or provide a reason by Dec. 3.

Officials said any employee who completes the approved paperwork to skip the shot must wear a mask when working around patients.

Italy and Switzerland halted sales of Novartis AG’s (NOVN) flu vaccines after the company informed Italian authorities of a buildup of particles in the shots. Novartis said the products are safe.

Novartis didn’t provide enough information for officials to know the exact makeup of the proteins found in the Agrippal and Fluad shots, or their impact on the quality and safety of the vaccine, Italy’s Health Ministry said today in a statement. There have been no reports of illness because of the particles, officials said.

Researchers, led by Vancouver's Dr. Danuta Skowronski, an influenza expert at the B.C. Centre for Disease Control, noticed in the early weeks of the pandemic that people who got a flu shot for the 2008-09 winter seemed to be more likely to get infected with the pandemic virus than people who hadn't received a flu shot.

Five studies done in several provinces showed the same unsettling results. But initially research outside Canada did not, and the effect was dismissed as a "Canadian problem," a problem with the flu vaccine used in Canada.

Skowronski, who outlined the work at a webcast press conference, worked with 32 ferrets, giving half the 2008 seasonal flu shot and the rest a placebo injection. The work was blinded, meaning the researchers didn't know which ferrets received which shot. Later, all the ferrets were infected with the pandemic H1N1 virus.

The ferrets in the vaccine group became significantly sicker than the other animals, though all recovered.

Nigel Hawkes raises some interesting questions in relation to both the proposed nasal spray influenza vaccination for school children as well as the lack of transparency and accountability of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation. But there are some further issues he might like to look into.

For instance, the manufacturer's product information for Fluenz states [1]:

"FLUENZ should not be administered to children and adolescents with severe asthma or active wheezing because these individuals have not been adequately studied in clinical studies.

"Do not administer FLUENZ to infants and toddlers younger than 12 months. In a clinical study, an increase in hospitalisations was observed in infants and toddlers younger than 12 months after vaccination (see section 4.8).

"It is not recommended to administer FLUENZ to infants and toddlers 12-23 months of age. In a clinical study, an increased rate of wheezing was observed in infants and toddlers 12-23 months of age after vaccination (see section 4.8).

KIM LANDERS: The Australian Medical Association says there is no excuse for medical professionals giving banned vaccines to children.

The Federal Health Department has confirmed that the CSL product, Fluvax has been given to children under the age of five causing one confirmed and two suspected adverse reactions.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration banned the use of Fluvax for young children two years ago because it caused seizures and the Federal Health Department says GPs were given clear instructions not to use the product.

In letters to Colorado public health officials, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) opposes a rule requiring workers in health care facilities to have an annual influenza vaccination or lose their jobs. Workers who had a rare religious or medical exemption would be required to wear a mask in patient care areas from November through March.

The religious exemption is too narrowly drawn, AAPS writes, and should be a philosophical exemption, as accepted in many states, to “to avoid inquisitions into matters of faith.” The mask requirement “seems to be nothing more than a punitive retaliation against those who decline the vaccine” and should be dropped, the AAPS letter states, as both immunized and nonimmunized individuals can transmit influenza or other illnesses.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has become aware of recommendations made by the Finland National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) to discontinue vaccination with Pandemrix, an adjuvanted H1N1 influenza vaccine, while an investigation is conducted looking into the observed rise in cases of narcolepsy among children and adolescents, mainly in Sweden and Finland. This vaccine was developed specifically for pandemic 2009 H1N1 influenza (this past flu season). A different influenza vaccine will be used in Europe during the upcoming influenza season. Narcolepsy is a chronic neurological disorder caused by the brain’s inability to regulate sleep-wake cycles normally.

Pandemrix is not licensed for use in the United States. No adjuvanted influenza vaccines are licensed in the United States. The European Medicines Agency has launched a review of Pandemrix to investigate whether there is a link between cases of narcolepsy and vaccination with Pandemrix. This vaccine has been used in at least 30.8 million Europeans.

Let me start with the Big Lies. An organization called Families Fighting Flu has for months been running radio ads citing 1,200 U.S. children die from the flu each year, but even the CDC admits on its Fluview website less than 100 American kids (under age 16) died last flu season from "flu-associated" illness, with most already having severely compromised chronic health conditions (Yet, even 100 pediatric flu-associated pediatric deaths indicts U.S. flu protocols as next door Canada last year had but six pediatric flu-associated deaths, all associated with severe prior health conditions).

The second Big Lie run for over 15 years was the CDC publicizing 36,000 Americans died each year from the flu, but last Spring CDC finally admitted their annual flu-associated deaths were vastly overestimated so now it's down around an annual 3,000+ flu-associated deaths. Thus, CDC admits it has been off by a factor of twelve (12) for 15 years, yet mainstream media gives them a free pass and also ignores mortality is associated with flu, almost never a direct cause.

American's mass media and Health Leaders are currently, touting virtually everybody get flu shots, including 6-month old babies getting two doses, the first at 6 months, the second four weeks later. But, "down under" Australia and New Zealand are at the end of their flu season, with their populace very leery of taking flu shots ("jabs" in their parlance) after last year's mass-poisoning by the jabs to Aussie children. Their flu-associated morbidity/mortality numbers reveal (again) without equivocation the uselessness (and toxicity) of toxin-laden flu shots - and, as usual, are simply ignored by U.S. leaders sticking with their obsession of injecting toxins into human flesh.

Equally damning are U.S. CDC and NIH Leaders' attitudes ignoring the vast health benefits of nutrition and adequate Vitamin D (depleted in the darkest Fall and Winter months) despite an abundance of studies that show virtually nobody with robust Vitamin D levels comes down with Winter flu and associated colds.

PLIGHT: Mairead battles to help other sufferers

A DUBLIN mum has spoken of her shock after her six-year-old son was stricken with a chronic sleep disorder after getting the flu vaccination.

Alex Lawless is one of at least 16 children here who have been treated for the disabling condition since receiving the Pandemrix jab.

Little Alex, from Rathgar, in Dublin was vaccinated early last year and now suffers from extreme drowsiness every three or four hours throughout the day.

His mother Mairead was pregnant during the swine flu outbreak in 2009 and was given the flu injection. She was also advised to have her family immunised.

After Alex was given the vaccine he started to sleep a lot during the day.

Authors' conclusions: Influenza vaccines have a modest effect in reducing influenza symptoms and working days lost. There is no evidence that they affect complications, such as pneumonia, or transmission.

An earlier systematic review of 274 influenza vaccine studies published up to 2007 found industry funded studies were published in more prestigious journals and cited more than other studies independently from methodological quality and size. The review showed that reliable evidence on influenza vaccines is thin but there is evidence of widespread manipulation of conclusions and spurious notoriety of the studies. Selective reporting
The harms dataset from randomised studies is small. The trial authors appear to regard harms as less important than effectiveness assessment. For example, in the trials by Beran et al (Beran 2009a; Beran 2009b) data collection on harms began at the receipt of the vaccine or placebo and continued until the end of the study. [Editors note: I believe that the 30% reduction of ILI under ideal circumstances is 30% of 20% annual ILI incidence (.3 x .2 = .06 which is 6%) AND constitutes a bias as studies typically do not include the approximately 6% ILI incidence which follows in the few days following an influenza vaccination. So even under ideal circumstances the value of the vaccine is zero or harmful.]

Mick and Kirsten Button's daughter, Saba, suffered global brain injury plus kidney, liver and bone marrow failure after prolonged seizures following her vaccination shot. She may never walk or talk.
