Daycare and other employment requirements for vaccinations:
Much of our "right" to abstain from vaccines is about being clear about our fundamental human rights and how to assert them.

Look at the requirements carefully in your state, there should be a religious exemption for daycare workers. Even if not, the federal Constitution protects against religious discrimination. It is wise to prepare a letter that can be used repeatedly, that is notarized and states your sincerely held "religious" beliefs. After all, vaccines ARE a religion and you are also entitled to have this belief in the first Amendment of the Bill of Rights.

We need to get the government out of the practice of medicine, and out of the business of forcing dangerous medications on our most vulnerable, our children. We need to get to the root of the problem through education while encouraging the expansion of the numbers of people demanding their most fundamental of human rights, the ability to decide what will or will NOT be injected directly into one's body. Vital information as an impetus for statewide action on the necessity of us uniting and repealing the compulsory vaccination laws NOW is posted here: http://vaclib.org/legal/whycompulsory.htm

If you have to argue with a hospital or other employer, consider contacting your union and the unions of your fellow workers and asking them for help in asserting your right to remain vaccine free.

[Excerpt]

What to do if you have been unjustly treated by the CPS:

A small percentage of CPS workers remain unsuited for their job because of inadequate training, inflexible attitudes, and religious bigotry. Innocent parents are still being accused of child abuse, although at a much reduced frequency than occurred during the 1980s and early 1990s.

In many jurisdictions, case workers are protected by legislation and have qualified immunity from lawsuits from parents who believe that they have been abused. 3 However, if you are an unjustly accused parent, you might consider the following possibilities:

  • You might obtain the services of an attorney. A lawyer can explain your rights and your children's rights. You may be able to obtain information about lawyers in your area from:
  • The yellow pages of your telephone directory.
  • Your local "community information" center.
  • Your state or provincial Bar Association.
  • Your Legal Aid Society.
  • Some attorneys have rates geared to your income; some will accept "pro bono" cases (without charge).

  • You might consult the web sites of various agencies and authors which oppose improper actions by social workers, attorneys, law enforcement officers and self-appointed "child advocates." 3,4,5
  • You might consider contacting the local office of the district attorney (in the U.S.) or crown prosecutor (in Canada). They should be able to tell you how to contact the oversight agency to which you can complain. One knowledgeable visitor to our web site suggests that: "Formal complaints against CPS caseworkers are taken seriously. Caseworkers who harass, threaten, or otherwise attempt to strong-arm their 'clients' must answer those charges. They are reflected in the caseworker's performance evaluations, considerations for raises and promotions, and future employment."

    Constitutional Law Summary for Parents
    Source: http://www.kids-right.org/const_summary.htm
[A collection of quotes regarding law for parents and the childrens' welfare.]
The fundamental liberty interest of natural parents in the care, custody, and management of their child is protected by the Fourteenth Amendment. Santosky v. Kramer United States Supreme Court (1982)

The rights of parents to the care, custody and nurture of their children is of such character that it cannot be denied without violating those fundamental principles of liberty and justice which lie at the base of all our civil and political institutions, and such right is a fundamental right protected by First, Fifth, Ninth, and Fourteenth Amendments. Doe v. Irwin United States District Court of Michigan (1977)
    Section 4 Legal Primer

There are three types of law, constitutional, statutory, and case.
Constitutional law is primarily what this paper consists of, it is written by the people, and everyone must follow it.
Statutory law is created by your state legislature, and the judges and all citizens must follow it as written.
Case law is the judge's interpretation of how constitutional and statutory law apply to individual cases. Most libraries will have copies of your state constitution, and statutory laws.

Shell stated in an interview with Freedom Magazine, a Church of Scientology publication, "In today’s society, many parental practices are being falsely interpreted as abuse — including home schooling, discipline, spanking, Bible reading, and even breast feeding. This results in the prosecution of many innocent parents." In 2002, she told a reporter "I don't think they should ever terminate parental rights without proof that a child has been seriously hurt."
